Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Silent Protocol collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, dashboards, bots, CRM, and APIs.

This page is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.

What We Collect

  • Account details (email, username) to authenticate you.
  • Authentication signals (sessions, login timestamps, security events) to protect your account.
  • Discord metadata (guild IDs, channel references) to apply entitlements.
  • Technical data (IP address, approximate location, user agent) for security, fraud prevention, and reliability.
  • Operational logs and metrics to ensure uptime and detect abuse.
  • Billing contact info and payment references when you upgrade.
  • User-submitted content you provide (e.g., bug reports, account recovery documents).

How We Use Data

  • Provide and improve automations, alerts, and music/menfess workflows.
  • Secure the platform, prevent fraud, and respond to incidents.
  • Communicate status updates, billing notices, and product changes.
  • Aggregate and anonymize metrics for reliability insights.
  • Enforce plan entitlements for bot commands and dashboard controls.

Discord & Third Parties

When you connect Discord, we receive identifiers needed to operate the bot (e.g., your Discord user ID, guild IDs, and permissions context). We do not request more than necessary to provide features you enable.

If you use social sign-in (GitHub/Google), we store the provider identifier to link your account. Provider policies also apply.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your settings (such as selected guild), and protect the service. You can clear cookies to sign out.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with essential providers (e.g., hosting, monitoring, payments) under confidentiality. If required by law, we may disclose information following due process.

Examples of essential processing include: sending transactional emails (password reset, recovery, 2FA codes), processing upgrade payments, and hosting the dashboard and bot services.

Security

Access to production systems is restricted and audited. Credentials are stored securely, and sensitive secrets are rotated. Report vulnerabilities to security@silentprotocol.top.

We use protective controls such as rate-limiting and temporary lockouts after repeated failed logins. We may notify you by email if suspicious activity is detected.

Emails

We send transactional emails for account security and service operation (e.g., password reset links, account recovery links, 2FA codes, plan reminders, and important policy changes). These are not marketing emails.

Retention

Operational logs are retained only as long as needed for reliability and security. Account and billing records are retained to meet legal and audit requirements.

Account recovery submissions are retained only as long as needed to complete verification and for fraud prevention, then may be deleted or anonymized.

GDPR (EEA/UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), we process personal data under GDPR/UK GDPR principles. For most processing, Silent Protocol acts as a data controller for account and platform data, and as a processor when handling certain service content strictly on your instructions (where applicable).

Typical lawful bases include: performance of a contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, reliability), compliance with legal obligations, and consent (where required, such as for certain optional cookies).

Your GDPR rights may include

  • Access, rectification, and deletion.
  • Restriction and objection to processing.
  • Data portability (where applicable).
  • Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the email in the Contact section. We may need to verify your identity to protect your account.

International transfers: our infrastructure may process data outside your country. Where GDPR applies, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) when transferring data internationally.

Your Choices

You may request access, updates, or deletion of your account data where permitted. Some data (e.g., security logs, billing records) may need to be retained for compliance.

You can also disconnect Discord or unlink social sign-in providers from your dashboard security settings where available.

Changes

We may update this Policy as the product evolves. Material updates will be announced via the dashboard or email. Continued use signifies acceptance of the updated Policy.
